Tomorrow sees the start of the Artistic Gymnastics competition at the first European games in Baku. The British team of Charlie Fellows, Georgie Hockenhull, and Kelly Simm are in the first subdivision, starting at 10:00 AM Baku time, so a very early 06:00 UK time. The girls will compete starting on Vault, with Kelly listed to compete two vaults, with the hope of making finals. They will finish their competition for the day on bars.
Monday morning the girls will be back at the same time (06:00 UK time) to compete on beam and floor. It will be a long wait till the end of the day to see where the girls have placed, and what finals have been made. The last rotation is scheduled to begin at 18:40 Baku time, so everything will be done by about 19:00 (15:00 UK Time).
Full start list and schedule can be found here:
Ways to watch
Early birds will be able to watch live streaming of the competition on the official Baku website here:
There also seem to be highlight videos from various events, as opposed to full archived footage as far as I can tell so far, this is available both on the site, and on the You Tube channel here https://www.youtube.com/user/baku2015/videos
For those that have BT sport, they will also be offering live streaming.
Good luck ladies, and also good luck to GB MAG representatives Nile Wilson, Brinn Bevan, and Frank Baines who will begin their competition tomorrow too.
